A memorable patriotic, historical and musical film with President of Pakistan, Field Marshal General Mohammad Ayub KhanGeneral Ayub Khan on September 6th, 1965 and his famous speech on the morning of September 6th, 1965 when the Indo-Pak War irrupted. Some scenes from the battlefield and many leaders, including Foreign Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Chief of Army Staff Gen. Moosa Khan, Air Marshal Noor Khan, Navy Chief A.R. Khan (Afzaalur Rehman Khan), Prime Minister of China Zhou Enlai and President of Indonesia Mr. Sukarno were seen on the silver screen and in the background was the famous patriotic song Yaad karta hai Zamana unhi Iinsano ko..

Ironically this films was a copy of an Indian film Dosti and the story was about two disabled persons and their friendship.

This film was also known for an amazing performance by the legendary singer Masood Rana who sang 7 songs - 6 of them were all time super hits which still is an unbroken record by any male singer in Pakistani film history! Music critics called him "Pakistani Rafi" due to his versatility and superiority as playback singer in both Urdu and Punjabi films in Pakistan.
